- Speed isn't the only metric for delegating to AI. Dishwasher mode puts it well: that dishwasher might be slower than you, but it works while you do something else, and clean beats fast (at least for dishes). The ideal tasks are narrow, annoying, and off the critical path.
- In 1897, Indiana's House unanimously passed a bill "proving" the circle could be squared, which is popularly read as setting π to 3.2. A Purdue professor who happened to be in the building stopped it in the Senate.
