Early 2025. The project you had in mind: nah, that'll take weeks to code, too risky. The effort alone kept you from even starting.

Effort was the bottleneck.

Spring 2026. A prototype costs no more than a few hours. Now you start five things instead of finishing one. The question isn't "Can I build it?" — it's: "Should I, and will I actually see it through?"

Goldratt put it years ago: remove one bottleneck and the next becomes visible.
